Marketing one’s own book can be quite daunting! Today is actually the formal publication date, but I’ve had my advance copies. Here is one group book-signing at The Six Bells in Thame on Tuesday and there was another small group at The Thatch the following evening, with nearly 20 copies sold between the two. One person bought three copies, two as gifts, which is great as it also spreads the net. The book has also crept into the window of our local bookshop, The Book House in Thame. And I’m getting in the first comments – so far about Neanderthals (before my time!) and the huge change in diet when hunter-gathering gave way for farming. More on both later…And thanks to those of you who are making enquiries at your local bookshop. It all helps raise awareness.
